Arore's boots could be heard while he was going down the corridor of the military base that his father was in charge of. He knew his father would be glad to see him, but not for the reason a father should be glad to see their long departed son. Most likely Arore's father already had a grand plan working around in his head about what to do with Arore's skills once he finally worked up the nerve to speak with his father.
Arore walked into the quarters of his father to find that, yes he was there. His father greeted him with a slight bow of the head and smiled at him coldly. His father had been this way to him all of his life and Arore expected him to be that way for as long as he lived. Arore sighed looking his father in the eyes hatred burning for even being around the man. "Father." Arore would say simply letting his father know that he had acknowledged him.
"Son" Tinth would say, the father of Arore."It's been a while. Where have you been?" Arore snapped back yelling."Where Have I been?! No Dad..." Ah how that word dad felt like poison on his tong."Tinth I have been away, away from you, and this place. I had hoped that I would never have to come back." "Ah but son, you knew you would be back. Your mother is here. I know you came to see her."
Arore would nod his head while glaring at his father."You know I hate you, and your fine with it. Are you dad?" This time Arore would try to use the word dad as a insult to fling at his father. "Ah now that's more like it, a man has to fess up to his feelings or he'll never get any where in life." Tinth would say. Arore would bare his teeth and growl under his breath. "What would you know about feelings?" Arore would say angrily. Tinth would smile widely."Well I'm glad you asked son. See I was pondering over the feelings that I had for your mother, then I realized I no longer loved her. So I sent her to Remnant island to die shortly after the divorce that we had. To bad you weren't here, then I might have been able to send you to." Tinth smiled as he said all these things to Arore seeming as if he wasn't effected at all by what had happened, and that it was just a simple conversation.
"You did what?!" Arore would scream"You F**king bastard! I will kill you!" Tinth didn't once get up from where he was sitting, only balled his fists together under his chin. "I doubt that son." Arore knew what his father was doing, his father was playing him so that Arore would go into Remnant Island so he answered plainly with his voice seeming to have lost all feeling and emotion to it."Fine I'll go." Oh how Tinth smiled at that. "That's just great son! Go find a room and I will have someone sent to pick you up tomorrow to take you to Remnant Island.
Arore scoffed at his father and got up to walk back farther into the house, already missing his mother. He ran his fingers down the wall to his room and fell into his bed nearly crying over the lose of his mother."Why does this always happen to me?" He would ask no on in particular, so a rhetorical question to no one and nothing.
