Myono felt lost among the large crowds of Abudies. She hated the feeling of being crushed, and of being insignificat. Many years ago this had been one of the endless plains of Africa. This was the area where her Beast had lived-and died. Why Artelin wished to return here was a mystery to Myona. The lioness spirit had never expressed any love for her former life. Myona had a feeling that Artelin enjoyed ordering her around.

Aurora kept her head toward the ground, not taking notice of anyone and trying not to look conspicuous. She and her beast, Andule, both hated this. Infidels. Worms. Aurora could hear Andule whisper inside her, desiring the destruction of the humans as much as she. The humans were so pathetic. They pranced around without a care in the world, still not realizing the significance of what they had done to the world. She couldn't wait for them to be wiped from existence. I....I..sense another, Andule stuttered to Aurora. Aurora kept walking, but now she was paying attention to everything, trying to find the Infected, what the humans had so kindly given them the title of. Was it a Raven, one who fought to defend both human and Infected? She despised them. Humans did not deserve to live, regardless if she was one herself or not. The only thing they were good at was destruction. Aurora and her beast had been trying to find worthy allies to help them destroy the humans, but so far her search has been useless. "Would this one join us?" Aurora whispered underneath her breath to Andule. The Beast......it hates the world as we do. The Hume however.... Andule trailed off, but Aurora knew what she meant regardless. The Beast was most likely Tolnar to its host, but the human had a kind heart. Why anyone would struggle against their Beast she didn't know. They were better than humans, even robots, in every possible way. They knew ten times more than humans. The humans were blessed to have the company of such a godly creature.

Myona's thought's were interupted when she noticed that Artelin had perked up. Maybe the Beast had noticed something that looked familiar. Myona fought back the urge to groan. This trip was fruitless. Artelin's former home was now a haven for Humes, and Artelin despised Humes. Unfortunatly, the lioness's love of tourturing Myona was greater than that hatred. There is another near, muttered Artelin. Where? asked Myona, but Artelin refused to answer. She had a habit of leaving her host in the dark. Myona deducted by the happiness (or an emotion alined to it) that the Infected had the same outlook on Humes as Myona. Myona wreslted with whether she should avoid the other or not. While she desired company other than Artelin, Myona wasn't sure if it was worth listening to this Humes views. She settled on letting events play out.

Aurora had picked out the Infected rather easily, but had no interest in speaking to the Hume. If the Beast was more than happy to take control of the Hume for a confrontation with Andule and herself, then she would be glad to speak with it. Otherwise, she didn't want to hear the Hume speak, of how her beliefs were wrong and that the Humes deserved to live. She had heard this from several other Infecteds and it annoyed her beyond immagination. If they cared for the Humes so much, then they would just die with them. Aurora came up to a bench and sat down, watching the Humes as they passed by. From within her, Andule was making sounds of discust.

Eventually, Artelin pointed out the other Infected to Myona. She was sitting on a bench, looking disgusted to be around so many Humans. Myona decided she would rather not talk to her. She started to go off until she felt Artelin attempt to control her. Myona fought her off until the pain welled up. Normally, Myona would fight off Artelin for as long as possible but she was learning to pick her fights.
OK. I'm going, but under protest. Myona turned on her heal and headed back to the bench. Sitting down next to the Hume, Myona muttered, "Hello," keeping her head down.

"You waste your breath Hume," Aurora said to her quietly, as if the entire world was listening to their conversation. "Your Beast is the only part of you whome I wish to speak with," Aurora said. She could feel Andule inside her, excited at the thought of being companied by a Beast who saw things the way she did. Aurora rose, and turned to face the hume. "If your beast wishes to speak with me, then she can come and find me, not send her pathetic hume. Tell her, the sea is where she can find me." Aurora began to walk away.
((BTW, my characters all have a nag for being obnoxious and antisocial. They're just stubborn so don't take my characters rude behavior personal))

((I understand))
Myona shrugged and was willing to let it go but Artelin was not. While the Beast could leave she prefered tourturing Myona. Myona fought as Artelin tried to control her. She dropped to her knees, jaw clenched and knuckles white. A few Humans glanced at her curiously but the blazing scarlet orbs that glared up at them caused them to hurry past. Finally Artelin managed to take control. When the Host's mouth opened the voice issuing forth was rough and gravelly.
"Wait," Artelin growled. "I will speak with you, but we will speak her. If you want a powerfully ally I am here, but I will not chase you around the world."

Aurora stopped where she was but didn't turn around. "You wouldn't have needed to chase me. The sea, although the enemy of man, is my home. It tells me everything. You would have only needed to speak with it, and I would have known that you were requesting my presence," Aurora said, glaring at any Hume who stopped to look at them, her eyes would change briefly to a birds, and then back again. It was enough to send them running. "I am Aurora, host to the godly beast Andule, Phoenix of Ice." Aurora spoke, her voice filled with what would seem like wisdom, but looking at her one wouldn't think that due to her young age. "And you are called?"

Artelin attempted not to roll her eyes at this thingyy Hume. She had not yet measured her worth, and did not want to insult her if she proved to be usefull. She paused before answering the Hume out of pure stubborness.
"I am Artelin, the great lioness. My host is Myona Dusko. She is of no significance." Artelin could feel Myona's rage bubbling and smiled. "This land that you are standing on is my home. Even with its changes, I know it better than you." She rose to her - or rather Myona's - feet. "Now tell me: Why should I ally with you? What do you have to offer me?"

Aurora grinned slightly. This beast thought her a fool, which was fine. To both she and Andule, she was a mear insect. She did not care. She would serve Andule until death, and this beast as well if it proved to be a formidable ally. "The question is: What do we have to offer each other? You have as much to give me as I you. You and Andule are both of magnificent power. You both desire the same thing, the destruction of the Humes who took your land. My beast has power of ice, and knows the seas backwards and forwards. Andule is feared by many Humes and Infecteds. She is of massive size, making the power of her beak flauless. Andule is raw power, unrestricted, uncontrollable. Are you not similar? A Beast who the world tries to restrain?"

Artelin smirked at the praise but took no stock in it. Many had spoke sweet words to her, and most of them had betrayed her. This being may turn out different. She did seem to have a strong reverence for her Beast, unlike Myona. Maybe that reverence went to all beast in general.
"I am the great lioness Artelin. I once ruled these plains. I know more ways to kill than you will possibly ever have a use for, and I do not discriminate against my victims, young or old, Infected or Hume. While I am sure your...Andule...is strong, there are few who possess cunning and prowess equal to mine. Hopefully, you will both be worthy allies."

"Then we have an agreement?" Aurora asked. She could feel Andule inside her filled with joy at the thought of being able to slaughter humanity with an ally. To see another have so much joy in killing as she did, it was beautiful to her. "Do you wish to speak to Andule? I understand that you would most definetly prefer to speak with her." Aurora didn't wait for a respond, but instead allowed Andule to push her aside and come forth herself. Just remember, we can not strike, not yet. It would not be to our advantage. Aurora reminded Andule just before she left. When Aurora's eyes opened, they were not her own, but instead eyes filled with darkness and hate for. They were cold, distant, as if someone else all together. Her eyes resembled those more of a dragons than a birds, most likely because of the corruption. Rather than speaking, Andule bowed slowly, and then rose. "I am Andule, Queen of the Sea. It is an honor to stand before another like myself," she hissed, her voice filled with infinate knowledge and power.
((Brother is kicking me off, I will be back on later for a long while. Sorry))

Aretlin dipped her head in respect to Andule. Not that she respeted the Beast, but it would be wise not to make her angry for the moment. Later, though, she would show this bird who should be bowing to who.
"Hello, Queen Andule. Trust me, the honor is all mine," Artelin said though a false smile.
You disgust me, Myona hissed.
Silence, welp. I'll deal with you later. Myona tried to hold it back, but Artelin still sensed the fear coming from the Hume. Artelin had 'delt with' Myona enough for the girl to know how much pain was associated with those two words.
"You can trust me," continued Artelin, "but my Host, Myona, is a strange one. While she knows she would never suceed, she may still try something. You see, she does not share our great ideals."

Andule smiled. She could feel Aurora from inside her snort with disgust. What is wrong? she asked Aurora. Your memory is not well, Andule, so, if I may, remind you that no one has ever sides with us before, not even Infecteds. There is a chance this one is only getting involved with us for her own benefit. Aurora paused for a moment. I just do not want us to get hurt again. We have already been hurt greatly. I will not forget this, and remember it before making a choice. "I am sorry to hear that your host is not a servant like mine is. She is useful to me," Andule told Artelin. "What do you suggest our first move be?"

Artelin was practically bubbling with happiness, but she did not let it show. They accepted her. All the better.
"In order to take down the Humes, we must first destroy their protectors: the Infecteds who care for the Humes. They are the ones who somewhat stand a chance against them. We will spread fear thoughtout the earth by adding fire to the rumors that will spread about the serial killers roaming the lands." Artelin smirked. "Us."
((Sorry it's short. I'm at school.))
