Arore had been rudely awaken earlier that morning by a soldier about his father's age. It didn't matter that he had been awoken but the tone the soldier had taken with him. The soldier had taken the "Your not worth S**T" tone with him, usually he would have dealt with it but since he was soon told about the mission, he had no choice to deal with it later.
Arore looked over the ocean out of the helicopter door that was open, the water glistened with the sun light that shown off it. It was great to see such a view he thought, sure the world's water may have been polluted, but once you got out so far on the open sea it just looked so beautiful. The engine of the helicopter could be heard roaring above his head until it started to sputter and and eventually stop all together. The consul started to beep and the helicopter groaned as the pilot tried to rear it into the sky.
Soon however, even with the pilot's mastery of the helicopter. It would fall to the ground ripping to peices a large explosion tearing through the helicopter devowering everyone that was on it. The propellers rapped around the helicopter and into it. When the helicopter finally decided that it was going to try and start again it was the wrong time for sure. The blade turned and broke off, like the shrapnel from a grenade it flew in a random direction. To bad that direction was Arore's. The blade penetrated him through and through, his body now nailed to the wall of the helicopter.
he awoke now, everyone on the helicopter had died. He should have been dead he thought. Not knowing where he was he felt the wound that was in his gut. He ran his finger up the helicopter blade before gritting his teeth and pulling it out with what was left of his strength. From there he found the medic station and bound his torso with bandages to stop the bleeding. His sword was found not to far from his body and he used it to prop himself against a ruined wall of the once helicopter. It didn't provide much shade from the desert that was called remnant island, but it would have to be enough. "I must have a guardian angel or something watching over me" He slid down the wall and closed his eyes not sure if he would wake up, but sure that if he did he had no way to get off the island that he now was on.

Dragon searched the area, her squad doing the same behind her, and everywhere around her. They were to do a general sweep of Remnant Island. The different tides would occasionally wash up artifcats that were of use to them.
Six large ships, and one enormous ship, the Alexander, were in the sky above, hoving rather low, but making it almost impossible to hear anything. It made Dragon angry. One of her greatest accets was her ability to hear anything. She would still be able to hear anything like a normal human would (although right now the humans could hear nothing, still making her hearing supperior to theirs) but she prefered to be able to hear everything within a mile radius.
Dragon put on a set of sunglasses, computerized sunglasses and began a scan of the surrounding area for any unmarked life form. All her units had a chip installed in their suits to make sure that they weren't confussed for the enemy and so computer tracers like hers and the Alexander's wouldn't confuse them with someone else.
First scan: No signs of life. Second Scan........ some one was there. She zoomed in on the object, using the Alexander's scan bots to zoom in on it. It was wounded. It was the scans were picking up high amounts of heat radiating from his gut. Most likely blood. Other heat signs were also picked up, but were indicated dead, containing no heart beat.
Even if it was almost dead, what was a helicopter doing anywhere near here. Even if had crashed, for no reason should it had done so here.
Dragon began to move toward the life form, one hand laid gently on her blade.
Only about 1/4 a mile away from it now, and Dragon could sense it. An Infected. Obviously not a Raven seeing as how they found away to not be detected. It didn't seem to be as much of a threat, being injured, but she wasn't going to take chances.
Dragon pulled out her two blades, keeping them at her sides. If it was injured enough that it or its Beast couldn't fight then the Reapers would take it for study. Once the study was completed, it would be eliminated.
So close. Dragon could almost taste the blood on her lips. Her eyes flashed back and forth between demon and human. Altec also hungered for his blood, more than he did usually. Normally, that ment that it was powerful. He loved to challenge others, weak Infecteds were no fun to him. He seemed slightly depressed that it was injured, but he didn't seem to think that it would be enough to stop him.

Arore woke his eyes were sore as if he had never used them before. A voice whispering in his head as wind blew through his hair tossing the sand from the ground about into his face as well as a bit in his wound. It stung, but not enough for him to move from where he was. "Move" Whispered the voice. Arore looked up now seeing the ships and cursing under his breath."d**n it..." Arore would lean his weight on his sword propping himself up against the ruined door of the helicopter. "What now?" "Move" the voice would whisper again. Arore had no choice, he would do as he was told.
Arore put his hand to his gut bringing back blood that had managed to bleed out past the bandages that he had rapped around himself. gritting his teeth together he started to run his adrenalin kicking in increasing his blood flow, a sacrifice his body would make for him to gain speed and strength. With this new found speed and strength Arore no longer would hold his hand to his gut or grimes about the pain that was giving him so much problems.
He ran now the voice that once was whispering in his head quiting into the nothingness that once stood so firmly in his mind. Jumping over some of the debris that was in his way he turned around pulling from under his coat a silver revolver with two barrels and fired four times emptying his gun. Once done he holstered the pistol under his coat while running. He had no idea if he had taken out any of them. Only that he was shooting to save him self.
Arore knew he had no other choice but to run, so that was what he was doing. His steps were beginning to falter when he saw his salvation. A large mouton that looked as if it was some kind of. He reached it the adrenalin that was once saving him was now killing him. His blood dripping onto his boots he would grin as he knew how fight in these close quarters, and would take pleasure killing the ones that seeked him so dearly. He hid now in the shadows his coat unnoticeable from the dust and smoke of the smoldering helicopter.

Dragon came up upon a small cliff, allowing her to look down at her objective.
He had red hair, like fire, and a blade that was as hansom as he was. A shame almost, to kill someone so powerful. If only he wasn't an Infected.
Dragon pulled her blades and jumped down, moving like a graceful wolf through the shadows down the piles of scrap. She landed about three feet in front of him giving him a chance to look upon she who would take his life.
"Tell me...What is the name that I shall carve onto your grave stone?" Dragon said, her blades held out in front of her. They glistened in the sunlight like liquid silver, with power radiating through them.
Dragon clenched her teeth as Altec began to pull on her again. He wanted out, as he always did whenever they faced an Infected.
Release me! Altec screamed in her ear. He was pushing harder than he ever had before. This Infected must have a beast that Altec is familiar with, or at least the race. So many lost souls linger within him, and if we destroy him, they will all be ours. With no place else to run, the souls will come to us.
Dragon shivered from where she was. She could feel him inside her, tearing at her every being, but she wouldn't let him see that. She wouldn't show weakness to an Infected. She was almost afraid to fight. She didn't completely understand. If the souls went inside her, did that mean that she would have to struggle against them as well? She already had enough to deal with and didn't want to risk it.
Dragon grinned, and then put her blades away about thirty seconds after she had made her threat to him. She put her hand to her ear, which had a head piece in it.
"All squad units to coordinates 3-2-0-1-9-5. I have found a study pet."

Arore grunted as he heard the word pet. He knew what it meant and that soon he would be strapped to a table with all sorts of things entering into his body. Cutting, tearing, buring, and all manner of other things that they would want to do to him. That was about as much as he could take. The voice that once whispered in his head was now screaming at him to let it take control for just a moment."Just let me fix you." It whispered.
Arore would seem to nod for no reason, but in truth he was handing himself over to Argosax willingly. Soon a soft blue glow would come from Arore's wound and the bleeding would stop. His body nearly throbbing with energy now as he opened his eyes to show his inward colors. The white of his eyes had turned a night black in his irises a sharp glowing blue. "So you wish to take this body do you...?"
Argosax was in complete controlled and filling alive once more."I would let you have it, but it's quit simple I don't like you." Argosax would move with in Arore and grip his sword with meaning. From a standing position he would leap up and onto the top of a cliff showing a smile that allowed the same bright blue of his eyes to bleed though his teeth as if it weer fire."Come you pathetic worm, let us play for this body. Argosax had no plans on giving the body up that he was bond to, he like Arore to much to let him go that easily.

Dragon grinned, still standing there unarmed. He really had no idea who he was dealing with. Did he know anything of Reapers at all? That they were nearly impossible to defete? They were trained specifically for destroying Infecteds, and not only was there just a squad here but a small army with it.
Seconds later, three dozen men or so came to where they were with ships following them. The Alexander now hovered about one-hundred feet above them. It's engins roared loudly as it slowly decended to the ground. Once it landed, its massive doors opened and even more soldiers came out. To add to that, the large cannons of the Alexander had now adjusted themselves to be aiming directly at the Infected.
"You see demon? I never come umprepared, and my monster has a....well....unnatural liking to your specific kind of Beast, so it would be beast if I do my best to not fight you, or you would die a horrible and painful death. He wants to rip your heart out and steal all the souls that you have collected throughout your life time," Dragon said.
"Take him alive. We haven't had a beast of his type. Hayden will have fun with this one," Dragon said. She turned and began her return to the Alexander. Even if they hadn't found any artifacts, they had found a new toy for Hayden.

Upon the mountain Arore stood firm against the wind and sand, his hair lacing through the air and across his face. A smile shown under his hair, that inevitably would go unseen. He drew his gun the sun glaring off it's surface. Before thoughts could be processed at a decent rate. Arore's gun began to glow with the same blue color that was in his eyes, each chamber filling with Argosax's soul energy. Arore squeezed the trigger the gun's hammer pulling back while the tip of it's barrels started to glow blue. The hammer fell cousing the the gun to fire a blue beam the size of a humans body out of both barrels as he pointed it toward a large group of soldiers.
Their bodies became ash and soon the smell of burnt flesh could be smelt as it crept in to the air. That faint smile grew slightly wider. Arore pulled the trigger again the same effect recurring. More bodies burned to nothingness. Not all was a loss however, at least not for Argosax. With each life Argosax took through Arore fed him, and made him grow in power. Something that he knew as well as Arore.
Arore was along for the thrill ride of his life, enjoying as Argosax slaughtered by the thousands. to him it seemed like watching a movie in first person view. It came to him as no surprise when once Argosax had shot a hole into the hall of the ship. Strong as the ship might have been it could not take the soul energy that Argosax was so willing to let it have. No shields had been made to block such a thing. So it just went through it, it's devastation becoming known as soon as the hole could be seen through the smoke that the ship started to billow out. This however wasn't quit enough for him. He never liked someone to have the bigger weapon then him, be it sword or gun. In this case the cannons on the ship. Arore drew the hammer back with his thumb quickly and pulled the trigger. The beam that flowed out of both barrels did more then sting the ships cannons. Now all in all the ship was starting to look like swiss chess.
Arore brushed his coat to the side and holstered his gun under his coat letting his coat rest once more on his body as he removed his hand from under it before walking toward the now tattered ship killing the destrot soldiers with his sword. The soldiers screams could be heard as he cut through them. To most it would seem as if he were just walking through a field, his sword arm swinging with the utmost ease. Killing all that stood before him. Soon the soldiers get the idea he though and stop standing in his way. Their guns weren't much help since once the fear set in of the blast that came from Arore's gun they could have been less then children with a guns.
Arore walked into the ship and stabbed his sword into the metal floor the soldiers that remained on inside of the ship seemed to quiver and shake in fear. At times their knees literally knocked together. As Arore stood t calmly now against a wall with his arms crossed waiting to see what the woman outside would do. He waved his hand slightly to send the men away. And they obeyed making the ship clear of all men. The other ships had gotten the message and soon they might leave to.

Dragon grinned, looking up into her ship at all the blood. It smelled so sweet. He was powerful, ands because of this, she would enjoy killing him.
Dragon slowly walked to the entrence of the ship and grabbed one of her swords. She still didn't like the way Altec was responding to him, but she didn't have much of a choice. She tilted her head and looked at the scrap heap to the left of the ship. A perfect battle field. She couldn't have cared less about the soldiers that died, but the Alexander was hers and she didn't want to put any more holes in it. She knew the first thing she would do when she got back was upgrade it her way, with the knowledge that Altec had, weather he gave it to her willingly or not.
Dragon began to walk in the direction she had planned for the battle field, not caring if her back was turned to him. Altec's ears made it so she could even hear his heart beat, and if close enough, the flow of his blood so if he tried to charge at her she would know.
Dragon stopped about 100 feet away from the Alexander and waited for him to follow. She would have to make this quick. Hayden was expecting her back in under an hour, and she wouldn't be able to use the Alexander so she would have to radio one of those chickens who fled. She would give them a piece of her mind upon their return.
Dragon pulled out her other blade, and tugged on Altec, having him ready when she needed the wolf form.
